Accessibility Statement
A Quick Word on What Accessibility Means to Us from Timothy Neumann - Co-founder & Head Chef.
At the very heart of what Taylor and I are creating and what I have devoted my career, education, internship and volunteering to is the empowerment of each and every community member. During my dietetic internship I had the heartwarming pleasure of cooking and educating a wide variety of healthcare consumers including people living with visual impairment, mental health disorders, traumatic brain injury and many patients recovering from cardiovascular incidents. It’s my strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence. I know first hand that a healthy relationship with food and nutrition has the power to enrich lives, boost population wellbeing and curve chronic disease. Food access, health and nutrition literacy is a fundamental right of every single member of society. Growing up, I was raised by a mother living with a visual disability. To this day my mother remains my biggest inspiration and the best cook that I know. Visitors to our website who have any degree of difficulty accessing or using this site, please know that we are 200% committed to providing equal access and continually learning to adapt our website and it’s functionality. If we have fallen short of meeting your needs and expectations, we would love to hear from you on how we can improve, because we won’t stop until this site is accessible by all. Happy cooking! Tim.
